Creative Niche

Full Description

After several years working in the staffing and recruitment industry for major multinational corporations, our CEO Mandy Gilbert indulged her entrepreneurial interests and tapped an $8,000 line of credit (she had no clients at the time) to found Creative Niche in 2002. Her focus: doing staffing and recruitment differently. Mandy was passionate about uniting creative professionals with leading companies to create the most unique, inspired work possible. How? She focused on carefully building lasting relationships and making matches that made sense in an effort to drive the growth and bottom-line results of her clients. Simply trying to meet client demand and fill positions as quickly as possible wasn’t an option. That passion formed the foundation of our culture and explains why we’ve grown to become the largest and most respected firm of our kind in Canada. And that growth doesn’t end at our borders. We recently opened offices in Amsterdam and Cincinnati to serve the European and U.S. markets, respectively. So, what exactly do we do? We’re a creative recruitment and workforce management firm that combines traditional services with digital technologies—particularly social media—to connect leading companies with top creative and marketing-communications talent. Our core services include staffing and recruitment for a wide variety of creative positions across industries—ranging from executive- to junior-level roles—contract workforce management (including local, national and international contract staffing, payroll management, tax and labour-law risk management, accounts receivable consolidation and contractor career development) workforce consulting, not to mention the management of strategic creative projects and custom creative team creation. Our clients include Fortune 500 corporations, as well as multinational advertising, digital and public relations agencies throughout Canada and across the globe. Of course, Mandy was determined to do more than simply shake up the staffing and workforce management industry when she founded Creative Niche in 2002. She also wanted to help bring meaningful change to her community. That’s why giving back has become just as important to our culture as making game-changing talent matches. In the past three years alone, we’ve donated more than $2 million in time and direct funding to a wide array of charities—from environmental non-profits, to organizations devoted to battling homelessness—while providing mentoring and career support to several Ontario-based colleges and universities. – See more at: http://www.creativeniche.com/about#sthash.dmhKbyXD.dpuf
